Experiment 626

So I feel like after you give birth 2 extra arms should just pop out of your sides like Stitch- just for the first year or two. Do you know how are it is to change a poopy diaper while trying to hold a paci in his mouth? Let me tell you it's not easy. Or trying to hold the baby and the paci while trying to make the bottle? Again not easy. So you see the simple solution would be to just have two extra hands that you can pop in and out as needed. And it's definitely needed at 3 am! I feel bad because he was sleeping so good except for the last few nights he's been waking up twice instead of once because I guess he can tell I'm restless and toss and turn all night :( hopefully we get back on track within the next couple days. He ate SIX oz last night and would have had more but I was SO scared I was over feeding him so 2 hours later had another 2.5 oz and went to sleep.

I think when you have kids because it's not just you anymore you become more jumpy or at least I do. Wyatt and I were taking a nap yesterday as you can see from the picture we were racked out haha. Well Granny G decided to take pictures and Wyatt moved a little so it woke me up and when I open my eyes her camera phone was shoved in our faces and it scared the crap outta me!! And this isn't the first time I've definitely woken up and saw her and before I realized what was going on I did the jump back kinda gasp thing cause I get scared. Wyatt of course slept through it all lol. He has been ending up on his tummy a lot more lately during his naps and I just leave him ( yes I know back to sleep tummy to play) but he roles over and does it himself so I'm not moving a sleeping baby. He is precious though! Granny D got him this blue stuffed bunny and he loves to hold on to things as a comfort this includes but is not limited to hair, skin, clothes, my face..etc so he is sleeping right now and is holding on to the bunny's ear and pulled it up to his lips! and yes ANOTHER rule broken "don't put anything around them while they sleep" but I'm kinda over peoples "rules" I may not know everything but I know my son and if anything is near his nose or face that obstructs his breathing he picks up his head and moves it or screams for me lol- plus I'm right here so if anything happens I'd know. I'm not disregarding all the rules now I'm not about to give my kid strawberries but a bunny or a blanket I'll let it go...

I enjoy him being little and to be able to love on him as much as I want but I will be thankful (as well as my back) when he can hold his head up! He does not like being held football style unless he is eating so again the extra hands would come in handy (hehe) when I'm holding a fussy baby upright over my shoulder and trying to eat or drink- it's a back breaker for sure! But then again once he can hold his head up before I know it he'll be sitting up, then crawling, then walking, and next thing I know he'll be graduating :( he is already 2 months old today and I'm sad my baby boy is growing up so fast lol.. I'm totally going to be one of those moms who cry on the first day of kindergarden haha. Dads are so much better at things like that they're just like "eh see ya later" and moms are like" ahhh :'( call me if anything happens! OMG I'm leaving my baby :'(" go back for 13 kisses and hugs and a million i love yous and then we call 12 times to make sure everything is okay! I've been told I'm not allowed to baby or spoil him- but we'll see about that ;) haha. I won't make him into a sissy boy but when he is hurt the best medicine is momma medicine.. And the whole spoiled thing you can never love your kids too much and he will know "no" and have to work for what he wants when he is older so he isn't a spoiled brat but I can totally spoil him now and then secretly do it later :) haha.. I want him to stay little-( not just so I can love on him all I want but so the want to have another one never comes cause you know you see a little baby and will forget all the pain and sleepless nights and say "awww I want one!!" No, no you don't!! lol and if I did have another one- in 5+ years- all my attention wouldn't be focused on him- but then he would have someone to play with.. it's like politics just too complicated lol!!)- but then again it will be nice when he is older and I get to do fun things with him! Plus once he is in school and I'm teaching we will have all the same holidays besides spring break usually and summers off to do lots of fun things and travel! I really want to be able to take him places during the summers so he can learn about and see the world and go camping and fishing and lots of fun stuff haha. But he is stirring and I've written a novel so I'm going to get his bottle ready :)

oh and p.s. for all of the english majors or grammar freaks we're gunna say the blog is stream of consciousness because I blog how I speak and commas and semicolons aren't in my vocabulary and very rarely do I use periods -they're usually at the end of like 6 run on sentences :) and I never reread what I type haha
